Faction Friday – a new initiative for 2022
Each Friday students (and staff) will be able to wear our fantastic new faction shirts to demonstrate their faction spirit.
New Faction Names
Dilert – Blue
Yonga – Red
Maali – Gold
Kooyar – Green
During the course of the day, all students that are on Good Standing (through upholding the school’s Code of Conduct) will be able to participate in sports and games of their choice for a period of one hour. Students that are not on Good Standing will be asked to attend their buddy class for the duration.
Faction Friday will not only be a fun motivator for students, it will also encourage engagement and provide extra physical activity to meet the needs of the curriculum.
Kindy and Pre-Primary students, 10.00 – 11.00 – parachute games, throwing and catching, egg and spoon, ball striking, turn the hats over, scooter boards, hula hoops and soccer kicking.
Year 1 and 2 students, 11.30 – 12.30 – sports and games include hula hoops, parachute games, scooter boards, soccer kicking, cricket, volleyball, and tee-ball, tennis.
Year 3 and 4 students, 12.30 – 1.20 – volleyball, tee-ball, tennis and cricket.
Year 5 & 6 students, 2.00 – 3.00 – volleyball, tee-ball, tennis and cricket.
